RECENT INCIDENTS
MERCERSBURG ROAD BARN FIRE
June
20th, 2007 ended as a busy day for the crew of Williamsport Vol.
Fire and EMS. Units responded to multiple EMS calls through out the day
along with (1) Motor Vehicle crash, (1) Special Response for Boat 2 and
a Multiple Company response for a Barn Fire with Company 4 (Clear
Spring).
Engine 23 along with Truck 2 responded on Mercersburg Road outside of
Clear Spring Maryland. Upon arrival Chief 4 arrived with a working
situation with fire consuming multiple large hay bales. The burning hay
bales were impinging on an empty residential structure. Engine 23 was
the supply Engine with Truck 2 utilizing it's water way to provide water
and foam to confine the fire.
